Tuam business is latest Agri Aware patron

CORMAC Tagging has been announced as a patron of Agri Aware, an agri-food educational body.

The Tuam business supported two public events in recent months that Agri Aware were involved in, their Open Farm event and the National Ploughing Championships, producing ear tag keyrings that were distributed to attendees.

Agri Aware are supported by over 70 patrons from the agri-food sector across the country, which helps them deliver educational programmes, public awareness campaigns and other events.

“I’m really proud that Cormac Tagging is supporting Agri Aware through events like Open Farm, the National Ploughing Championships and as a patron,” said Ursula Kelly, managing director of Cormac Tagging, a business that supplies livestock identification tags nationwide.

“They are the ones helping young people understand where food comes from and see the opportunities across farming and the wider agricultural sector. Their important work matters to every business that depends on a strong future for Irish agriculture.”
