Lots of laugh for Tuam's Mall Theatre

One of Ireland’s best-known comedians is set to headline Tuam After Dark at The Mall Theatre and Arts Centre this Friday, October 9.

Best known as the MC on The Tommy Tiernan Show, comedian Fred Cooke will bring his high energy observational humour and musical comedy to Tuam.

The popular comedy night recently celebrated its fifth anniversary and continues to attract some of Ireland’s top comedians to the town.

Organiser and MC Katie Harrington believes that Tuam audiences have a strong appetite for live comedy.

“Fred is one of Ireland's top touring comedians right now. People love getting to see their favourite acts without having to travel,” she added.

Ms Harrington also appreciated the volunteers providing support at The Mall to keep the venue open.

The show will be supported by Bob Hennigan from Ballinasloe who runs Ireland’s Smallest Comedy Club and Ken Lindsay from Galway City who run Redline Comedy Club.

Tickets to show starting at 8pm in Friday are available on www.eventbrite.ie.
