Sleep out for Galway Simon
PEOPLE in Galway are being urged to give up their beds for one night to raise vital funds for Galway Simon Community.
The annual Sleep Out for Simon aims to bring together community and business leaders, supporters, partners and advocates to stand with people facing homelessness across Galway, Mayo and Roscommon.
The participants will give up their beds for one night on Friday, October 2, to raise funds for Galway Simon Community and support people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
A virtual reality presentation capturing real stories of homelessness was presented at the official launch by Mayor of Galway Helen Ogbu.
