Headford host mental health awareness afternoon

THE SOLAS Family Resource Centre in Headford are organising a mental health afternoon to mark the 2026 Hello, How Are You? campaign.

Spearheaded by Mental Health Ireland, Hello, How Are You? is a national initiative promoting mental health awareness by encouraging simple, meaningful connections.

Events will take place across the country on Friday May 15, including in Headford where the Solas Centre have organised a mental health awareness afternoon from midday to 2:30pm in the Headford Tesco carpark.

They are seeking to increase confidence in starting conversations about mental health and normalising the topic in all settings.

The guest speaker will be Levi Tierney, owner of LT Fitness & Wellness. There will also be music from the Presentation College Headford Orchestra and choir, Don Stiffe and Paul Johnson (Paddy the Punk).
