Innovation award for Claregalway firm
Business celebrating 50 years
A CLAREGALWAY-based fencing company has won the Innovation Award at the SFA National Small Business Awards.
Founded in 1975, JPK Fencing Systems Ltd, is a leading Irish manufacturer and installer of specialist fencing solutions.
It has grown from a local enterprise into one of Ireland’s most trusted providers of fencing systems for sports facilities, schools, infrastructure projects and commercial developments nationwide.
The award also marks a significant achievement as the company celebrates 50 years in business this year.
The SFA National Small Business Awards, organised by the Small Firms Association, celebrate the achievements of small businesses across Ireland that demonstrate excellence in innovation, sustainability, and growth.
The Innovation Award recognises the company’s ongoing commitment to engineering excellence, product development, and modern manufacturing processes that enhance safety, durability, and efficiency in fencing systems across Ireland.
Kenneth Kearney, MD of JPK Fencing Systems, said that winning the award is a proud moment for everyone involved in the business.
“As we celebrate 50 years in business, it is a recognition not only of our innovation but of the hard work and dedication of our team over the past five decades,” he remarked.
Over the past five decades, JPK has delivered projects throughout Ireland, supporting the development of sports infrastructure, educational facilities, commercial developments, and public amenities.
Innovation has remained central to the company’s growth, with ongoing investment in design, fabrication techniques, and advanced galvanised steel systems that ensure long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
Receiving the Innovation Award in its 50th year highlights JPK’s continued role as a forward-thinking Irish manufacturer while remaining deeply rooted in the community where the business began.
