Clonberne nursing home is turning yellow

Fundraiser on Friday

CENTRAL Park Nursing Home in Clonberne will host a special Daffodil Day fundraising event in aid of cancer support services on Friday, March 20 from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Last autumn, residents, staff, families, and visitors of Central Park Nursing Home came together to plant 3,000 daffodil bulbs on the grounds of the nursing home. The bulbs were planted in memory of all those affected by cancer, creating a lasting and meaningful tribute that will bloom each spring.

On Friday morning, daffodils and Daffodil Day pins will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going towards the Irish Cancer Society. The event promises to be a lively community gathering, with several staff members bravely volunteering to have their hair and beards trimmed during the event to help raise additional funds.

The organisers would like to extend sincere thanks to Mary Divilly and the ladies from the Clonberne Activities Group for their generous support and assistance in organising this fundraiser.

Central Park Nursing Home warmly welcomes the local community to attend the event and support the fundraiser. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
