Green light for new homes in Mountbellew

It will be a mix of housing types

A SECOND housing estate in the town of Mountbellew has been granted planning permission this year.

Last month, Galway County Council gave the go ahead for a residential estate of 30 dwellings in the Barnswellgrove townland close to the Mountbellew GAA grounds.

The local authority has now given their approval for the development of 39 units in the townland of Treanrevagh, located to the rear of Aldi and Holy Rosary College secondary school.
