TWO men from Tuam placed highly at an elite global natural bodybuilding competition in the ‘City of Angels’.
Aidan Doyle and David Shaughnessy were part of a team of 15 Irish bodybuilders who travelled to Los Angeles in California for the 2025 WNBF (World Natural Bodybuilding Championships) Worlds event at the end of November, a competition for amateur and professional natural bodybuilders with contestants from over 60 countries.
Aidan and David were entered in the amateur section of the event. Aidan came second in the bantamweight class (68kg and under), while David was third in his middleweight division (80kg and under). The pair met for the first time met at a WNBF Ireland show this year.
