Businesses to take parking concerns to council chamber
A DEPUTATION of businesspeople will make a presentation to local councillors next week regarding the urgent action that they feel is needed to address the decline in footfall in Tuam because of parking and clamping issues.
Representative from Tuam shops and businesses will speak to the Tuam MD Councillors prior to their annual budget meeting on Monday. The group will highlight how the increase in clamping in recent months in the town has created an unease particularly amongst older members of the public, many of whom make up a sizeable number of the shoppers in Tuam.
A petition was started last month by Tuam businesses .........
