DAFTS International Golf Classic this week

ENTRIES are still being taken for what promises to be a great few days of golf at the DAFTS International Golf Classic, a major fundraising event organised by the Development Advocates for Tuam Stadium (DAFTS) Committee.
Sponsored by St Jarlath’s Credit Union, the three-day Golf Classic will tee off tomorrow (Thursday) and run up to Saturday at Tuam Golf Club, with all proceeds going towards Tuam Stadium development.
Teams of four cost €160 (with any combination permitted) and there will be €5,000 worth of prizes on offer, all of which have been sourced locally.
Committee members Larry Bane (086-8725202), Dave Coen (087-9285321) and Noel Kelly (087-2472855) are accepting entries, and a timesheet is in operation at Tuam Golf Club or by calling the Tuam GC Pro, Thomas Niland (087-6736349).
