Watch out for a flower bomb

THERE’S so much colour popping out through shop windows at the minute that it’s beginning to make my eyes hurt.

I’m not averse to a bright splash on the style front but the explosion of colour and catapulting of prints that have been dazzling my headlights in recent weeks have left me a tad fearful of the current floral trend.

It might be cheerful and uplifting but I’ve enough to keep me busy and don’t need what’s in the wardrobe wearing me out.

There’s no escaping this season’s flower power and you pile on as many bouquets as you dare or keep it simple with a single stem now and then.

It’s all bright and apparently beautiful, and even clashing and matching floral prints can be worn head to toe.

Some will see the trend as wearing wallpaper, others will be seduced and allow it to bloom all over the floordrobe – I’ll be taking a step back from the flower bed.
