Tuam links to latest season of Traitors Ireland

THERE is particular interest in Tuam in the return of Traitors Ireland on RTÉ as the participant from Galway has a special connection with the town.

The popular game show returned to the screens on Sunday, August 30 with 23 players, including Galway’s 29-year-old Saoirse Joyce.

A Human Resource Specialist from Knocknacarra, Saoirse is engaged to former Galway footballer Niall Daly from Kilconly and the couple are living in Tuam.

Hosted by actor Siobhán McSweeney, the show features a group of contestants who participate in an intense psychological adventure, as they stay in the historic Slane Castle.

A number of contestants are chosen to be ‘The Traitors’ and meet in secret to devise a plan to eliminate their fellow players called ‘The Faithful’ to win the prize money.

The show continues every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
