All-Ireland victory tour stops in Kilconly

KILCONLY’S Eadie Ryan visited her club grounds during the victory tour for the Galway U-20 ladies footballers.

Eadie was the goalkeeper for Galway’s 3-11 to 1-9 win over Donegal in the inaugural U-20 All-Ireland Championship final in July.

The victory tour started at the Claregalway Hotel for the Galway U-20 squad, managed by Kevin Joyce and captained by Oughterard’s Klara Banek.

The squad stopped at places in the North East Galway region such as Knockdoemore, Monivea, Caltra, Clonberne, Dunmore, Tuam, Kilconly, Headford and Annaghdown before finishing their journey in Oughterard.
