Galway songwriter releases new single

GALWAY singer and songwriter Sara Gerdine has launched a new single which blends folk, country and subtle classical influences.

‘Time Waits For No One’ is a song about the passing of time, personal growth and learning to cherish life as it unfolds.

With its rich melodies and emotional honesty, the song offers listeners a reminder to cherish the present while looking forward with hope.

Raised in a musical family in the West of Ireland, Sara began writing songs soon after picking up the guitar, developing a natural affinity for melody and narrative.

She went on to study Classical Singing at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin. Her songwriting has always reflected a deep connection to the folk and country songs.

Over the years, she has performed at festivals including Galway Fringe Festival, Celtic Connections, and Boyle Arts Festival, alongside numerous charity events supporting organisations such as Cancer Care West.

Inspired by the landscapes, stories and quiet rhythms of the west of Ireland, Sara Gerdine’s music combines warmth, authenticity and emotional resonance.
