Local MACE stores honoured with Excellence Awards

THREE MACE stores in North Galway were recognised at the recent MACE Excellence Awards for achieving exceptional standards in retailing.

The awards held in association with Solution Management Associates (SMA), are presented only to MACE stores that successfully complete an intensive, year-long inspection programme.

A total of six stores in Galway won the awards, including Delaney’s MACE on Old Dublin Road in Tuam, Delaney’s MACE in Cloughanover, owned by Padraic Delaney and Mannion’s MACE on Milltown Road in Tuam owned by Joe Mannion.

Delaney's MACE Cloughanover was also named the MACE Food Solutions Store of the Year.

“As Ireland’s longest-serving convenience symbol brand, MACE retailers have a strong and enduring commitment to outstanding retail standards and customer service,” said Keith Crawford, Sales Director at MACE.

“The recipients of this year’s MACE Excellence Awards continue to set the highest retail standards for the brand and the wider market, particularly against a backdrop of uncertainty and increasing business costs,” he added.
