€1,000 supports for students through bursary scheme

A NEW student bursary programme launched by West-Midlands Credit Union will provide financial support to students and their families.

The Educate 360 Student Bursary Programme will award 12 bursaries of €1,000 each to students who are pursuing third-level education, PLC courses, apprenticeships, and other recognised educational pathways.

The programme aims to ease the financial pressure often experienced by students and their families during the transition from secondary school to further education. The CEO of West-Midlands Credit Union, John Doyle, has emphasised the importance of supporting students at this stage in their lives.

“At West-Midlands Credit Union, we believe in empowering our members not only through financial services but through meaningful initiatives that make a real difference,” said Mr Doyle.

To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must be members of West-Midlands Credit Union. The closing date for applications is August 28. Applications can be submitted online by visiting www.wmcu.ie.
