Jenny Greene announced for Headfest 2026
ONE of Ireland’s best-known DJs will play the second night of Headfest 2026 on the June Bank Holiday weekend.
Jenny Greene will bring her high-energy DJ set to Headford on the Saturday night of the community-run festival, and will take to the stage after Qween, Ireland’s premier Queen tribute act.
Headfest will be held at Monaghan’s Mega Marquee and will get underway on Friday May 29 with a double bill of musical acts. Derek Warfield and The Young Wolfe Tones will entertain patrons, as will All Folk’d Up and The JAB Band, who are a local act.
Trad, folk and contemporary sounds are on the schedule for the closing night of Headfest 2026. Ruaile Buaile will be supported by Tradstone. The musical entertainment on the Sunday night will be rounded out by The Tav Jam Band, a nine-piece group of musicians from Campbell’s Tavern in Cloughanover.
The full festival programme for Headfest 2026 will be revealed early next year. More information on the festival and tickets can be found at www.headfest.ie.
