Striking building in Mountbellew up for sale

A lack of use has resulted in Coillte putting their local office in Mountbellew up for sale.

Opened in the 1990s, the property is located on the outskirts of the town in the Coillte owned forest. While several staff worked from this office in the past, it has been unmanned for some time.

A spokesperson for Coillte told The Tuam Herald that the decision to sell the building was taken following the relocation of staff to Coillte’s new regional office in Kilcolgan.
