Triple celebration on Dunmore farm

A DUNMORE farmer was excited to have witnessed a rare case of a cow giving birth to triplets last week.

Michael Warde from Knocknatee, Dunmore had bought a shorthorn cross breed cow earlier this year which gave birth to two female and a male calf. Although a cow in Tipperary also had triplets last week, it is a rare event and the odds are only one in 100,000.
