From Mexican Fiesta to town market, Dunmore is all set
DUNMORE is looking forward to ten days of festival fun as it prepares for its 51st annual festival which runs from Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 10.
With a packed programme of nearly 100 events, this year’s festival promises fun, music, tradition, and entertainment for locals and visitors of all ages.
Following on from their hugely successful 50th event last year, the committee have again come up with an extensive programme of events ensuring that it caters for people of all ages, abilities and interests.
Among this year’s family events is a high-energy, mesmerising Aerial Trapeze and Fire Show by the hugely talented Strix Nebulosa and Gill Byrne on Sunday, August 3 from 7.30pm. On Friday, August 8 Dunmore’s Mexican Fiesta Familia brings a taste of Mexico to Dunmore with live music and games creating a carnival atmosphere in the Square. Attendees can feast on some tacos too or try the Chili Challenge.
