Style ready for Racing for Rosabel

One of Galway’s most glamorous race week events ‘Racing for Rosabel’ is back for its eighth year at The Connacht Hotel on Monday, July 28.

The event in aid of Rosabel’s Rooms, hosted in partnership with the Irish Hospice Foundation, promises an afternoon of fashion, fun and fundraising.

This year’s MC is Clare McKenna and guests will enjoy a gorgeous garden party on arrival, followed by a sit-down lunch and racing tips from some of Ireland’s top jockeys.

There is €7,000 in prizes up for grabs for Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Gent, and Best Headpiece at the event.

Returning to the judging panel are long-time supporters Fiona Morgan Coleman and Gillian Duggan, joined this year by Jenny Buckley, broadcaster and Rosabel’s godmother.

Guests will be transported to Galway Racecourse to enjoy the evening’s racing action.

Tickets include admission to the event, racecourse entry and return transport to Ballybrit. Speaking ahead of the event, Suzanne McClean, Rosabel’s mum and founder of Rosabel’s Rooms, shared: “This event means so much to us. It’s a joyful celebration of style and community, while also honouring Rosabel and raising funds to provide vital support to families bereaved by child loss in Ireland.”

The event takes place at The Connacht Hotel on Monday, July 28 at 12pm.
