Headford Family Resource Centre celebrates 20th anniversary

There were great celebrations in Headford recently when the town’s SOLAS Family Resource Centre celebrated 20 years helping the community.

The centre provides a wide range of supports to people experiencing social and economic disadvantage in the Headford and surrounding areas.

These include a Meals on Wheels service, affordable counselling, play therapy, a thriving men’s shed and annual health days.

“This is something which the locals felt they needed, and they worked extremely hard to make sure it became a reality,” explained John Middleton, Manager of the SOLAS Centre.
