Developers looking to build new homes in Headford are showing little interest in allocating any of their properties for affordable housing.
With market prices for houses in the town rising from €325,000 18 months ago to €405,000, Galway County Council are free to consider Headford as a location for affordable housing, but it's proving to be a challenge.
