Bringing heritage and history to life
Schools and heritage group working with Natural History Museum
CHILDREN from Milltown and Belmont National Schools helped bring their research into local wildlife and heritage to life in Milltown Park last week.
The schools have been working with Milltown Heritage group in a collaborative research project with the Natural History Museum of Ireland.
The Milltown Heritage group has been exploring the area’s natural heritage and its connection to local traditions, stories, environment, and way of life.
The final results will form part of a national exhibition that shines a light on how nature and culture are deeply intertwined.
