Sunshine ensured a great start to Kilconly music fest
Country music fans from across the county descended on Kilconly at the weekend as it played host to the 2025 Wild West Country Music Fest.
The five-day event, which is held over two weekends, began last Friday evening and saw some of the biggest stars of the genre taking to the stage such as Claudia Buckley, Michael English, Mike Denver and Derek Ryan.
“Our first weekend was hugely successful as the weather was fantastic which always helps to get people out to gigs,” recalled festival organiser Paul Devaney when speaking to The Tuam Herald.
