IN TERMS of progression, Coláiste Bhaile Chláir’s seems to be natural. Having lost out to St. Jarlath’s College in the Connacht PPS Senior ‘A’ football semi-final two years ago, before coming up short against Summerhill College of Sligo in last year’s decider, they appear well set to take the next step, writes Ivan Smyth.

The Claregalway school enjoy another crack at winning their first ever Connacht PPS Senior ‘A’ football title when they face Mayo’s St. Geralds of Castlebar in the provincial final this Sunday at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence (throw-in 2pm).
