Donegal singer autographed 2,000 pictures for How Lucky I Must Be

DANIEL O’Donnell’s fingers should be tired from writing after he personally autographed 2,000 photographs for his new album, How Lucky I Must Be, in advance of its release this Friday, October 27.

Yet, the singer told The Tuam Herald that doing all this signing wasn’t at all as tiring as he thought it might be.

It was his record label, Demon Music Group, a division of the BBC, that decided to get him to autograph the 2,000 photos for inclusion in the Deluxe limited edition of the album.

This special edition is on CD and Vinyl and also comes with two videos, the award-winning Halloween video, The Night of the Daniels, and Daniel Live in Derry. The album is also out on digital.

“I signed 2,000 pictures in a number of sessions while I was staying in Dublin in September. It wasn’t as tiring as I thought it might be. By breaking up the signing into a number of sessions made it a lot easier,” he says with a laugh..
