Results are in – What’s your favourite Saw Docs’ song?

Poll results were tight at the top

THE results are in, and the winner probably won’t be a surprise!

Online Tuam Herald readers have been voting for their favourite Saw Doctors’ song over recent days and the band’s big hit ‘N17’ has come out tops.

N17 reached Number 1 in the charts for the Tuam boys at Christmas time in 1990 and it’s a song synonymous with the band.

The online poll on The Tuam Herald website closed at 3pm on Friday and from the ten popular songs listed, three really battled it out for the top place.

Another hit that’s always hugely popular at the live shows ‘Never Mind the Strangers’ came in second followed closely by the beautiful ballad sung by Leo Moran ‘Clare Island’.

There’s huge excitement for The Saw Doctors’ two homecoming Big Top concerts in Tuam on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Gates open at 6pm with music starting on Saturday at 7pm with The Whileaways, from Headford, and Backwest.

Music starts at 6.30pm on Sunday night with warm-up performances from Tuam’s Darragh O’Dea, Yule & McQ (featuring Mousey McHugh) and The Barceló Brothers.

The Saw Doctors take to the stage each night at 8.30pm – we can’t wait!
