Tuam agri-business and Local Enterprise Office lauded by Minister of State

GH AGRI welcomed Neale Richmond, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, to their base in the Mg Business Park on Friday.

The agricultural and veterinary healthcare company represented County Galway at the National Enterprise Ireland awards recently and received a certificate of achievement from the event.

Run by Tuam man Kevin McHugh, GH Agri was established in 1989. It provides immunisation products that focus on the prevention and treatment of on-farm diseases, both in Ireland and abroad.

Minister Neale Richmond was joined on Friday in Tuam by Galway East TD and fellow Fine Gael party member Ciaran Cannon, and Fine Gael Councillor Andrew Reddington. Valerie Kelly, Caroline McDonagh and Eoin Connaire from the Local Enterprise Office in Galway were also present…
