Plans submitted for new builds in Athenry and Claregalway

PLANNING permission has been sought from Galway County Council for the construction of 75 new residential units in Claregalway.

The development is planned for a 2.86-hectare site in Cregboy and would consist of six one-bed apartments, seven two-bed apartments, 19 three-bed houses and a total of 43 four-bed houses.

The application was submitted by Galway developer O'Malley Construction Company which has been in operation since 1971.

The vehicular site would be accessed via the Church View estate and another new road through an unnamed local access route at Gort na Creige, as well as a pedestrian access to Slí an Bhradáin…
