Getting ready to pack the bags for fun and games

PERTH is one of the most isolated major cities in the world, and another fun fact about the capital of Western Australia is that it plays host to the World Transplant Games in a few weeks.

A woman from the West of Ireland, or the townland of Beaugh in Dunmore, is taking part in several events at the games from April 15 to April 21.

Teresa Smyth was given a kidney in 2001 and has lived a normal and healthy life ever since.
