North Galway students to inspire at BT Young Scientist exhibition

Bright young minds create range of projects

NORTH Galway will have a large representation of budding young scientists at this week’s BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition which returns to the RDS after three years.

The competition was held virtually over the past two years due to the pandemic but now returns as a full event where thousands of students will aim to impress the judging panel with projects spanning the full spectrum of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, maths) subjects.

Two schools from Tuam and Headford have reached the finals, with seven projects, involving a total of 11 students travelling to Dublin today (Wednesday) with their teachers…
