Voices for Peace concert in Dunmore

Event promises to hit the high notes

THE eagerly anticipated Voices For Peace concert, which unites The Tuam Cathedral Choir and Dunmore Church Choir, takes place at the Church of Our Lady and St Nicholas, Dunmore, this Friday (8pm).

For the event, which will also be streamed live on dunmoreparish.com, both choirs have prepared a wonderful programme, including all-time favourites, Mozart’s Laudate Dominum, Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring and the magnificent Fauré’s In Paradisum.

Directors Mark Keane and Joan Macdonnell look forward to bringing over 70 singers together to perform this Friday.

Tickets are still available at a cost of €20 and can be purchased from Quinn’s, Tuam, and Eurospar, Dunmore.

All tickets must be pre-booked and numbers are limited. Proceeds go to Médicins San Frontieres, Ukraine.
