Charlotte’s Vision is launched

Tuam charity aims to give those with cancer more time to live

THE family and friends of the late Charlotte Sweeney from Tuam, who died from breast cancer last year, have launched a new fundraising initiative which they hope will fund research that will help give a longer life to other women with the disease.

Charlotte was passionate about science and a graduate of NUI Galway and the University of Coleraine. During her illness, she continually researched the latest treatments and looked into how best she could complement treatment she was undergoing be it with yoga, mindfulness and her diet.

Helping fund research into coming up with new and better ways to fight and treat the disease from which she died from was the best way that Charlotte’s friends and family felt they could pay tribute to her and remember her…
