Stars turn out to launch book on Paddy Reilly

New book co-written by Tom Gilmore

CELEBRITIES from the worlds of entertainment and sport mingled in the Hodges Figgis bookshop in Dublin on Monday for the launch of Paddy Reilly’s life story, co-written with Tom Gilmore.

The Tuam Herald’s veteran music columnist was his usual genial self in a gathering that included Phil Coulter, John Sheahan, Frances Black, Marc Roberts, Tony Hanahoe, Noel Ginnity and horse trainer Willie Mullins and his 93-year-old mother, Maureen.

The Dubliners’ John Sheahan, launching the book, said for him it was a celebration of a friendship of 60 years…
