Serving up style for the past decade

OPENING the doors in a recession wasn’t the only challenge boutique owner Anne Marie Gallagher has had in the past ten years. She has gone on to survive a pandemic and continues to face the economic impact of the war in Ukraine.

Anne Marie has kept on smiling throughout it all and while she admits there have been several hurdles to get over, she has enjoyed all the ups and downs that running your own business brings.

“It’s been a quick ten years,” tells Anne Marie. “Overall, it’s been great. There have been tough times but it’s like that for shops in other small towns too.”

The challenge of Covid lockdown also presented an opportunity for Anne Marie, one which she feels has turned out to be the biggest development for her business so far.
