Docs set to rock Kilconly!

Small gig in Headford too

AFTER tickets for The Saw Doctors’ first Irish show in five years, in Claremorris, sold out in a mere eight minutes last week, a Galway date has been announced — in Kilconly!

The first comeback gig will be on Galway ground and the 300 tickets could be gone within 60 seconds of going on sale.

Founding members Leo Moran and Davy Carton will be joined by familiar band members on stage in the Community Hall, now called The Venue, in Kilconly on Thursday, June 30.

A smaller performance is scheduled for Campbell’s Tavern in Cloughanover outside Headford on July 8.

The response to the band’s return to live shows has been phenomenal and manager Ollie Jennings told The Tuam Herald that they have been inundated with requests for tickets.

Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday, May 27 at 10am from the ticket website onlinetickets.ie, a company that also has Kilconly connections.
