Tuam Mart to hold latest spring Charolais bull sale

Show and sale at Tuam Mart is ICCS’ fourth spring sale

CHAROLAIS BULLS return to Tuam Mart to be auctioned off on Saturday at a sale that hasn’t been held at the event in three years.

Some 29 bulls are on the catalogue for a show and sale hosted by the Irish Charolais Cattle Society (ICCS). Tuam Mart was the destination for Charolais bull sales in the years leading up to Covid, owing to the town’s ease of access because of the M17/M18 motorway.

The bulls on sale at the weekend are from Galway, Roscommon, Sligo, Mayo and Tipperary, with 14 of the 29 bulls on the catalogue bred on Galway farms …
