Galway’s beauty spots desecrated by dumping
A POPULAR rural walking route in North Galway has been subjected to horrific bouts of illegal dumping in the past few weeks and locals have been trying to remove the rubbish in wheelbarrows.
Heaps of household waste, much of which includes recyclables, along with larger items of furniture, nappies and food have been putrefying in ditches in the Ardaslough area between Glenamaddy and Kilkerrin.
