The West awaits ….

Saw Doctors tour sells out, but hopes for Tuam summer 2023

APPARENTLY they’re “scheming”. There isn’t a plan, a date or a venue, but there just might be a Tuam gig.

It’s five years since The Saw Doctors last toured Ireland and the UK and played to some 25,000 fans along the way. Those fans haven’t forgotten the songs or that unique magic of being at a live Saw Doctors concert has, and now more than 12,500 of them at least will get to savour that experience ‘one last time’ – for now.

Five shows at venues in Scotland and England towards the end of the year have all sold out. It’s understood that efforts are continuing to try and secure an Irish date before the end of the year, but the backlog of concerts and performances due to the pandemic has put added pressure on venues.

However, the band has hinted that a big hometown Tuam concert is a possibility for summer 2023.
