Major step for Dunmore centre as it launches suite of full-time courses

Some students eligible for payment during study

FOR the first time, a suite of full-time accredited courses will be available at the Further Education and Training Centre in Dunmore.

It’s a significant development for the facility operated by the GRETB, Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board, which is eager for more young people to consider such courses as a route to employment or third level education.

Pursuing a college or university course straight after the Leaving Cert doesn’t suit all students, and courses like these which vary from childcare to pre-nursing to technology can prove to be hugely beneficial and rewarding.

The training centre in Dunmore is hosting an Open Day this Friday March 11 from 1-6 p.m. and is urging people of all ages, backgrounds and education levels to drop by and see what options are available for full and part time study.
