New Tuam €10 million social housing estate to be ready ahead of schedule

THE new €10 million social housing estate being built in Tuam will welcome its first residents later this year.

Construction work on the scheme at Tirboy is ahead of schedule and Galway County Council are optimistic that the new estate will be finished by early summer.

The 49-house development, called Fana Bhuí, will feature 21 two-bedroom bungalows; 16 two-storey, two-bedroom homes; and 12 three-bedroom, two-storey homes.
