Facelift for Kilconly pub dormant for seven years

THE new face behind the bar at Blake’s Pub in Kilconly says it’s too early to tell what his New Year plans will be under the new Covid restrictions.

The pub only re-opened last week after it shut its doors seven years ago but it’s been a busy few days, regardless of the new 8pm closing time.

Blake’s Pub has been an institution in Kilconly village since 1810 and its doors are now open for business once again.
