Dunmore good news story shows rural Ireland is far from dead

DUNMORE is at fever pitch ahead of a certain county final on Saturday, and the opening of the new head office in the town of an international electrical and mechanical company has added fuel to the fire.

Dunmore received a blow to the solar plexus when the Bank of Ireland branch and ATM closed last month, but that wound was certainly softened last Monday, November 1, when Galway East TD Sean Canney cut the ribbon on EASCA Group’s new office on The Square.
