Funding boost for Ross Errilly Friary looped walkway route

WORK is to start shortly on an ambitious plan to provide greater access to Headford’s most historic tourist attraction, Ross Errilly Friary, with the sanctioning of funds for a new walking trail.

A grant of almost €18,000 has been awarded to the project through the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme, which will allow works to begin on the first phase of the scheme at Sandybanks Lane.
