PLANS to develop 11 different walkway routes throughout Tuam and the town outskirts have been welcomed as ambitious after the scheme was unveiled to councillors this week.

The Looped Walks and Cycle Routes of Tuam scheme was presented to Tuam Municipal District Council where the routes were detailed on a map of the town.
