Gift Grub comes to Turloughmore in fundraiser for injured paramedic

SOME of Turloughmore’s finest characters are set to star in a night of comedy by star impressionist Mario Rosenstock in a special fundraiser for a local lady recovering from a devastating spinal injury.

Olivia Lane suffered a severed spine and brain injury when she fell 40m while hiking the highest mountain in Connacht, Mweelrea, last October. A former goalkeeper for Turloughmore Camogie Club’s junior team, Olivia has been left paralysed from her chest down and is recovering at her family home with parents Lynn and Oliver and brother Keith.
