Troublesome tenants to be evicted

RESIDENTS of a Tuam estate are to be evicted this week following a spate of anti-social behaviour that culminated in the discovery of a viable pipe bomb in the area last month.

Galway County Council has confirmed that some tenants of the CĂșirt na Cora estate off the Weir Road will be served court ordered eviction notices, following the incident last month where several homes were evacuated as Army bomb experts examined a device left under a car parked outside several homes.
