Remote workers snub hubs over homes

GALWAY, Mayo and Roscommon are tops for people who have moved or would consider relocating as a result of an increase in remote working in the past year, according to a new survey.

However, the survey results sound a warning regarding the government’s plan to promote the establishment of Community Hubs as the numbers clearly show that this isn’t where people want to work from.

Just one per cent of people surveyed said their preferred remote work location would be a hub while 60 per cent chose their own home.
