Design team appointed for €20m Gael Campus in Athenry

A DESIGN team has officially been appointed for the construction of a new Gael Campus in Athenry which will offer a new home to the current primary and post-primary Irish-speaking schools currently in the town.

The Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB) have said the development will see investment of €20 million from the Department of Education, who are planning on relocating the gaelscoils on the former Clarin College site in Caheroyan.
